Working Wood

Recycling, repurposing & reusing

Handmade projects that help us appreciate the work wood does for us, our lives, our environment and our planet.

Anola, Manitoba, Canada

We thrive to give our wood the dignity that it deserves.
Natures contribution to sustaining lumber trees shouldn’t go unnoticed.

NO WOOD GRAIN IS ALIKE, NEITHER IS OUR WORK

Wood workers from Manitoba

We have a unique opportunity working in the tree care industry to have access to excellent lumber and off-the-wall pieces that have rare opportunity to add real life to a room.

After acquiring land to open a tree nursery, keeping a family tradition alive was an
easy decision for Nick. The chance to follow in his grandfathers footsteps is a dream come true, and working alongside Ren will help push the boundaries of creation and functionality.

Ren has sap running through his veins and washes his hair with sawdust.
He’s the 4th generation of tree workers and 3rd generation of carpenters, so it seems only natural for him to continue. With a creative mindset and as a habitual learner there’s no impossible project .

THIS IS OUR PASSION

Exclusive work, functional solutions.

There’s a lot of choice on the market when it comes to buying home furnishings, but few come with our knowledge of the wood from a biological level. Working as practicing tree surgeons and growers, Ren and Nick see trees from there birth, to their death.

Having this attention to detail and connection with trees, the wood can be processed and honoured in a respectful way on its journey.
